all very clear information is inside the apartment, for you to read and
use, like maps, directions, info about going out etc etc (you will be better informed than in the average hotel)

if you arrive by car we can meet at the apartment and I can purchase
for you a day or weekcard for parking by the apartment

-very easy access
to and from all areas, by foot, bus, tram
-2 minutes walk to the middle of busy city center
-apartment in very quiet pedestrian
street, between Brouwersgracht and Haarlemmerdijk, great area!
-many fresh food
shops and food cafe's located nearby
-busstop, tramstop and taxistop at 1 minute walk from apartment (but the location
of the apartment is such that you do not need public transport)
-safe neighbourhood
-very suitable for all ages
-close
to bike rental shop with choice of many different bicycles!
-BARNEY'S is located
around the corner, famous coffeeshop which also serves great breakfast!
-banks, ATM's,
internet close by (also wireless internet connection inside)
-tram 3 is around
the corner and takes you in few minutes to: Leidseplein, Museumplein (Rijksmuseum,Van GoghMuseum,StedelijkMuseum) and Vondelpark
-shops for ordinary
shopping and groceries at 3 minute walk from apartment, with supermarkets open untill 10pm, seven days a week
Note: Haarlemmerdijk and Haarlemmerstraat is considered the nicest authentic Amsterdam shopping
and restaurant street with all facilities in in 1 long narrow street, running all the way to Central Station

TRANSPORTATION:

is at walking distance from the apartment
-public transport
very easy from and to the apartment (bus, tram, or by foot), more info provided upon arrival
-parking your own car is possible
by the apartment, but also in a cheaper parking area at 10 minutes walk from the apartment
-close to nice bike rental
shop with regular bikes (no big plates etc)

INFORMATION:
-the apartment
is suitable for a maximum of 5 people
-minimum stay 2
nights
-groceries for the first day can be delivered (in case you arrive at night)
-you have your
own front door, no sharing
RATES:
Apartment:
Standard
rate (a stay of 4 nights and longer):
-from 80 euro total, for
the apartment
( 80 euro per night for 1 person, 20 euro extra for every next person )
Example:
you
stay with 3 people: 80 + 20 + 20 = total 120 euro per night for 3 people
For
a stay of 2 or 3 nights: standard rate plus 20%
-discount when staying longer that 1 week
-extra
low rates if staying 2 weeks and longer
-monthly rate for longer stays
CAR
Parking:
(rates 2009/2010)
-a daycard (24hrs) for by the apartment on the canalside costs appr. 36 euro,
adn a week card costs appr. 216 euro
-a daycard in nearby
area costs 27 euro and a weekcard 135 euro
(you can park your car for free in other area of town, check with
me)
-public transport cards
can be purchased in bookshops, postoffices, trainstations, tourist information offices
